Regional Consulting International Regional Consulting International GmbH (RCi), founded in the year 2000 and located in Vienna, is a limited consultancy company, independent and internationally recognised. RCi is supporting Regional Planning & Policy & Governance in a European perspective. The word “regional” indicates our strong roots and our origin from Regional Planning, which is dramatically evolving its understanding. The word “consulting” stands for service with a specialist and technical background. The word “international” expresses our European and international perspective and links to our subsidiary company in Bratislava ProRegio s.r.o. The company focuses on the four competence areas: (i) Programming & Innovation support (ii) Evaluation & Impact studies (iii) Institution &Capacity building and (iv) Project management & Technical assistance. RCi consists, apart from the permanent staff, of a network of partner offices in Austria and all over Europe. RCi has a wide range of experts in different fields of profession as well as from various countries, nationalities and cultures at its disposal and long and varied project experience. We work with local actors and build successful partnerships for sustainable socio-economic and policy implementation. While our clients are mostly public entities, we are increasingly winning recognition as a contact point for private investors and project-financing institutions as well. Comprehensive location consulting, specific consulting for regional and urban activities as well as change mangement in administration are just some areas where our highly specialised expertise is used to great effect. It is one of our RCi objectives to be amongst the very best, even though - or perhaps because - we are a small enterprise.
